This place it’s horrible . I had appointment there at 10am to bring my suv for recall repair . I waited there to 4pm afternoon I even took day off from work only so they can tell me that there is not enough time for them to repair it today but to make another appointment and bring my vehicle again . Initially, giving me a rate of more than 11% whereas the promotional APR was between 3.5% - 4.5%. Later when I explicitly told that I was a professional who was looking to get the Tier 1 rates because of my high salary, high initial down payment and low risk profile, the rates magically became the standard Honda promotional rates.
These coercive, deceptive tie-in sales practices are completely unacceptable. I finally demanded my deposit back after around 3 hours of continuous back and forth to which they folded finally and suddenly dropped the ‘mandatory’ after market tracker add on.
Honda corporate needs to audit this department's compliance.

My experience with this dealership was positive from start to finish and I recommend this location even if Hillside Avenue doesn’t sound appealing for access! The showroom and all facilities were clean, attractive, and filled with welcoming staff. The service team accommodated my limited communication access during the day by communicating via text, they took me as a late appointment but I never felt rushed or cut off from receiving all the information I needed, and they set me up so I could finish the paperwork and still meet my work responsibilities!

Customers deserve clear information and professional treatment, especially when dealing with financial products like warranties. My experience with the handling of this cancellation and the way I was spoken to was very disappointing. I suggest research more on these issues before commiting anything because they would keep in the dealership the whole day faking that they are getting the paper works ready when in reality they are just looking to exhaust you more and hence agree to whatever addons they put at the end because you are in a rush to get things done now because you are very overwhelmed.

Kenny also stated that “cars in transit don’t have VINs.” However, the dealership’s own website shows in-transit cars listed with VINs, color, and option details. Cars in transit and allocations can be sold under a binding contract because a VIN of assigned.
In a shocking and rather comical moment, Kenny even read aloud a Honda corporate email that, in my view, clearly supported the IRS position — that “the contract must be signed by 09/30 to qualify”. It highlighted Kenny’s misunderstanding between “contract signing” and “delivery,” which are legally distinct.
I found this episode embarrassing to witness.
In my opinion, clearer training for sales staff would help ensure customers receive accurate information and that the dealership doesn’t lose sales opportunities tied to EV tax credits.

Mohammed Chowdhury lied about me actually NEEDING to have all the extra service coverages such as " Honda Care and Multi Shield Protection' (an extra $4,000 added to my loan) in order to be approved of the loan. They took advantage of my vulnerability and desperation to purchase a new vehicle. NEVER AGAIN!

Took my vehicle to get fixed. They fixed the part but it’s wasn’t done right and had to take my vehicle back again and it still didn’t get fixed, only to but another part. Was misinformed on how to properly have my vehicle ready for a recall. Took my car in also for a recall for it to not be done because of misinformation on Hondas end. Wouldn’t recommend coming here again.

This dealership has developed poor communication recently. Have been going here for years. Did not know Honda stopped taking Car Shield. There was no signage, no notification, nothing. I found out on the phone from Chris K. When I asked when this was instituted, he said the first of the year. As a customer I think a notice, or signage should at least be in place. He then said to me I should have told him at drop off as though it were my fault. He should have indicated at drop off especially as I walked in he said, "... This dealership has developed poor communication recently. Have been going here for years. Did not know Honda stopped taking Car Shield. There was no signage, no notification, nothing. I found out on the phone from Chris K. When I asked when this was instituted, he said the first of the year. As a customer I think a notice, or signage should at least be in place. He then said to me I should have told him at drop off as though it were my fault. He should have indicated at drop off especially as I walked in he said, "You take good care of your car what could be the problem?" I said, raggedy NYC streets. I finally get a call of all the problems and I say ok I have Car Shield and it is at that moment hours after drop off that I find out Honda doesn't take Car Shield anymore; as I listed above. So I spend $247 plus there and then have to get Car Shield to find another Service place and I have to spend for another diagnostic plus. I'm no J..A.. nor am I illiterate. I understand and comprehend English. If I were a man I probably would have been in the boys club with all the info. It is totally disgusting to be treated as an after thought. I have been going here for several years and now all of a sudden there is no full disclosure. Am I now forced to go to Valley Stream Honda to get an honest diagnostic? I went there after 3 days and was told the break job done at Hillside that I had done previous to the recent visit, the pads [still good], but the rotors were not {Service indicated the rotors didn't seem to have been apart of that job 60,000 mi check]. A 12 year old car with 62,000 miles is not being abused and is being maintained by the dealer I shouldn't have misconceptions from my regular service station. Hillside changed that. I am really in a quandary. I don't think this survey means anything to Honda and I would be surprised if anything came out of my response.

I like the service but they always overcharge you on the labor. Every time I have had a service done, they charge $100 more for labor than the parts itself. And they round up the hour for labor. So if they take 15 minutes, 30 minutes OR 45 minutes repairing your car, they charge you for the full hour. Plus they take 2 to 3 hours just for an oil change.

I will be taking my business elsewhere since they have so many other customers that they can over charge.

I wish I can say I had a good experience since I have been a loyal customer of Hillside Honda for over 20 years. I could not believe this was happening. I brought my car in because I was called in for the recall on my car. I dropped everything and made sure I took off and took my special needs nephew to DayHab on the day and time they wanted. Bu they did not want to finish my car and gave me every excuse. Not my fault. I even called mid day to ask when was my car was going to be finished. Nothing, I didn't stay and harass them I left the car and waited patiently at home. But when they told me my car was not going to be finished just come back tomorrow. Unacceptable. I need my car for work. I am my Autistic nephews transportation to and from DayHab, Supplemental and Sports. I can't just leave my car and show up the next day. I don't have a spare car. I don't have money for ubers or rentals. I don't have Honda care? I make plans and plan accordingly. How do you tell someone whom is Autistic and Special Needs there is a change in your normal routine because I don't have a car to take you where your namally going? You can't because they will hold on to it and argue until they can't argue anymore and then bring it up again. Hillside Honda is doing the work, you know how long it takes to do the work, you are making the schedule to fit the amount of work to be done. Don't put the customer in a position to where we have to defend ourselves because if it was happening to you it would be questioned as well. Don't assume we have spare cars or family around to help. We have to go to work just like you are and I cooperated with you I need for this to be reciprocated. That was a very uncomfortable position to put me in because I have to plan. And I plan carefully because someone depends on me and I am all that he has. And since I believe it was a rush job my car has been reeking of gas. Now what? Smelling that for days cannot be healthy. I wasn't even warned about the smell to prepare myself. Information can go a long way if you give it. Now I'm going to think about if I'm going to come back or not.
I had a fantastic experience at Hillside Honda while purchasing my new 2025 CRV. The staff were professional and welcoming, but I especially want to thank Aaliyah, my saleswoman. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. Aaliyah took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable with every aspect of the purchase. She made what could have been a stressful experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend Hillside Honda and Aaliyah for anyone looking to buy a new car!

Recall work looks ok, multi inspection - didn't get no information if it was done, I had requested a full diagnostics on my car to be done because the check engine light is on and to see if any recommendations can be given on maintenance of my vehicle and that was also not done. I had to also call multiple times and couldn't reach the service advisor on the status of my car, when I was initially told it would be ready by end of day the same day as drop off, I was able to pick it up the following day and that is fine, I get that certain work needs more time but not communicating it is the part that is frustrating. Finally, when I was told to pick the car up, the recall work was done, however, everything I explained to the service advisor regarding the multi inspection and full diagnostics on the car and why my check engine light was on, none of that was done. Now I have to take my car to a different Honda dealer to get that done. I understand Service Advisors deals with multiple customers but still should pay attention to the requests of customers dropping there car off and on what they want done or the issue they are having.
The sales manager Mo Chowdhury and sales rep Alieme Hussain were fantastic. Honest, no aggressive sales tactics. I would highly recommend.
I took my CRV to Honda repair center back in April. First, I was overcharged for a diagnose that wasn’t accurate at all. Also , they want to charge a very high price with not warranty of problem getting fixed.

Came here to purchase my first car (honda crv)! Mario the salesman was so calm, not pushy, informative, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. He even beat the quote I had received from Paragon Honda. The financing dept. Mohammed & Tariq were also very kind and explained all of my options clearly. No hidden fees, and GREAT APRs!
