The 2011 Honda Pilot is a capable, powerful, SUV. Able to seat eight adults in three rows of seats, towing, or hauling cargo, the Pilot can handle your family’s needs.
Take a look under the hood and there’s a big 3.5-liter, V6 engine. This V6 produces 250 horsepower and 253 pound-foot of torque. The V6 provides plenty of power and torque, enough to haul 3,500 lbs. The power is transferred to the wheels via a durable 5-Speed Automatic Transmission that uses a Heavy-Duty Automatic-Transmission-Fluid Cooler. The base model Honda Pilot is Front-Wheel Drive, but Four-Wheel Drive versions of all Pilot trim levels including the EX are available.
Hondas are known to be safe cars, and the Pilot comes with a suite of safety features including front, rear and third row head airbags, Dual-Stage, Multiple-Threshold Front Airbags, and the LATCH system. Additional features prevent accidents in the first place, like the antilock brakes with brake assist and distribution.
Some of the features available on all trim levels of the 2011 Honda Pilot include heat-rejecting green-tinted glass, plenty of beverage holders, cruise control, speed-sensitive volume control and remote entry. To make room for your cargo, both the 2nd and 3rd rows fold down in a 60/40 split, letting you use the entire cabin behind the 1st row for utility.
