New Honda Summer Clearance Commercials Feature Some Catchy Tunes

Honda knows that nothing spreads the word of a good sale better than some instantly-recognizable music. That's why the company has opted to make use of some iconic songs in its newest ad campaign.

The new Honda Summer Clearance Event advertising campaign, which officially kicked off on July 16th, features six television spots that all use one iconic song to parody a popular film genre. Each add begins the same way, a salesperson waves off the pour owner of a new Honda model as they drive off the lot for the first time. From there, each ad becomes its own unique story.

For instance, in "Action Adventure," the owner of a new 2012 Honda Accord drives off into the desert horizon as Judas Preist's "You've Got Another Thing Coming" plays. Meanwhile, "Family Comedy," which is set to Pete Townshend's "Let My Love Open the Door," shows the fun that a family with three kids can have while shopping for a new Honda Odyssey.

Now we don't want to ruin all the fun of these new ads, so we'll stop with the spoilers, and just say that the remaining four Honda Summer Clearance Even ads feature music by...

-          Outasight
-          Derek and the Dominos
-          OneRepublic
-          And Cyndi Lauper

Everyone at Hillside Honda, located at 139-07 Hillside Ave, Jamaica, NY encourages you to keep an eye out for the ads, and leave us a comment letting us know what you think.
